"In the place of worship only one thing is required: that is, to truly worship God. There is no room there to bring into the open the conflicts and differences that are within the people congregated. Also, there is no place to find fault with others or to place guilt on others. If you all consider this deeply, you will realize that this is a place only to analyze oneself, not to find fault with others. This sort of thing is all a result of the evils of the monkey mind within each one. The place of worship is only for the worship of the One God. It is not to demonstrate the problems of the mind. This should be deeply considered. “Only the person who goes there without any problems goes to see God, to quench his thirst. When people come ostensibly to find God, but also bring all their problems and love affairs, then they create difficulties and distract each other very much from the path. This is the situation all are faced with. “The man who comes only with the divine thirst to see God, to realize God, and to become integrated with God, has no earthly problems, no love affairs. He comes with only that preoccupation. He is wholly dedicated in his pursuit of seeing and realizing God. He comes with absolutely no worldly problems whatsoever. If wisdom and the wisdom of the Sheikh dawns in him, then he will realize man and God, and so worship. He brings no love problems and he brings no difficulties. He only seeks the One Effulgent God. This man never sees any difference in the congregation of the people collected there because he has none of these problems within himself. The whole world may be there, but he is not concerned.” “Where on comes to realize God is no place to see the faults or guilts in others. The work one must do here is to analyze one’s self and correct one’s self, to show compassion to all created beings and for other created beings to have love for us, to treat all lives as one’s own, to forgive any faults which others may have committed against us, to embrace all with the three thousand divine attributes of God, to embrace all with our love, to feed all with the milk of love and to feed all with the honey of wisdom, and to embrace that soul within the grace of your own soul. This is the only work of God and this is the work of His prince, who is man. The person who acts only in this manner is Man-God, the God for the lives on this earth. He is the prince of God. This you must all understand.” Copyright: The Pond Vol.1, (pg 2-4) Bawa Muhaiyaddeen Fellowship Family Newsletter Jun – Jul 2001
