The 36th Sign The thirty-sixth sign is also already taking place. People are turning from their race, religion, philosophy, and scriptures. Kings are being destroyed. The barber is becoming a king and the king is becoming a barber. The great ones are becoming low and the low ones are becoming great. A beggar is becoming a shipowner and a shipoowner is becoming a beggar. A learned one is considered a fool and a fool is recognized as learned. Those who have good conduct are said to be immoral and those who are immoral are reputed to have good conduct. A prostitute is claimed to be chaste and a chaste wife is sometimes called a prostitute. Truth is called false and falsehood is being claimed as truth. All good things are being discarded as bad and all bad things are being acclaimed as good. A wise man is called a fool and a fool is called a wise man. Such is the state of the land, and as this continues to progress, there will be no such things as chastity or justice. Poverty and new diseases will increase. Bad things will be used and considered as good things. New forms of destruction will be invented. Weapons will be made with atoms and poisonous germs; the poison of snakes will be used to kill a man. Through the elements (earth, fire, water, air, and ether), certain people will make forms out of metal and earth that fly in the sky. With these agents of destruction, they will prove to the majority of the people that there is no God. They will say that there is no such being as God. People in every religion will change and lose their faith. They will ignore the tenets of what is permissible and impermissible (halal and haram) and will no longer differentiate between forbidden and permitted food. They will change the truths of the Qur’an and the traditions (ahadith) of the Prophet (Sal.). Like this, many changes will occur in the world. A woman who has borne ten children will abandon her family for a new man. After having fathered ten children, a husband will also take another woman. Men and women will look here and there, continuously changing partners in life. There will be no decency or respect. People will wander around without clothes, like goats and cows. At least, cows and goats hide their private parts with their tail, but humans will discard all their clothing and won’t even cover themselves with their hands. The udder of the animals are hidden on the underside of the body, but women will deliberately exhibit their breasts and sexual organs. The eight yard saree will be reduced to one span, and even that one quarter of a yard will be so transparent that the entire body will be displayed. While some people will walk around totally naked, others will wear transparent clothing. Good conduct and unity between husband and wife will be non-existent. A wife will take hold of another man’s hand in front of her own husband. A man will do the same thing in front of his wife. Adultery and immoral conduct will be practiced openly. A father will take a daughter, and a daughter will take her father. They will have sexual relations. A sister will take a brother and a brother will have sex with his sister. A mother will take her son and a son will take his mother. Improper relationships such as these will take place. Sexual energies will increase, and women will tie their tubes, try various methods of birth control, and have abortions. Because of this, monthly periods will stop, and illnesses such as cancer, lumps, and sores will increase. (1/8/74) People will disregard the guidance of race, caste, religion, philosophies, and scriptures. They will act without good conduct prescribed in the religions, and there will be no true religions. People will abandon the ritual slaughter (qurban) of animals that makes meat permissible food. They will no longer eat food prepared in their homes, but instead eat different kinds of food in all sorts of places. They will not cook at home and eat peacefully, and they will eat anything when they travel. Adultery, alcohol, and intoxicants will be preferred. People will imbibe things that will change and mask their wisdom and good conduct, thinking that these things give them strength. They will speak of religions and prayers but will have no place for prayer in their hearts. They will speak about it outside, but their hearts will not speak of it on the inside. Prayer will fly away. People will say, “There is no God!” and they will lose all fear of God. This is the thirty-sixth sign, and it has already begun. To be continued...
