My children! We are mankind (insan), those who have been created as the most exalted beings by the compassion of Allah’s love. It is our belief that Allahu ta’ala Nayan sent down to the noble Prophet Muhammad 6,666 verses (ayat), which are the divine word of the Thiru Qur’an, (1) and that these divine verses were sent down in the Arabic language to the scripture called Furqan (Islam). And we believe this to be true.

Brother, a tiny ant discerns and picks up things that are not visible to man. An ant comes over quietly, picks up things that have fallen out of man’s hand, and eats them very lovingly. It obtains that which slipped away from man, that which man’s eye did not perceive. Similarly, God, our Father, is not visible to man’s eye at this time. He has slipped away from man.

The Prophet Abraham built a mosque on earth as an example and called it the Ka’bah. The Rasûl came later and repaired this same mosque which had been destroyed after the time of Abraham. This is the Ka’bah.

Qutb Muhaiyaddeen, in the ripeness of age, came and sat in the mosque of shari’at in time for the early morning prayer, fajr. The one who functioned as imam for that mosque in those times came to the mosque and led the people in prayer. Although the Qutb was in the mosque, he did not join in the prayer during that waqt. The imam noted this and went away. At the midday prayer, zuhr, the imam came again to the mosque and led the prayer, but the Qutb did not pray then either.

In the presence of a sheikh, if the first word that comes from your mouth is a positive thought, then what follows will be positive. If you speak negatively, then the result will be negative. You will be stopped, and there will be a danger in that for you; a loss will occur. It is from the words you utter that the sheikh can help you.
